Through the communal East Street entrance lies the steel, glass and timber atrium. Its 12-metre diameter ETFE roof brings light and air to the dynamic heart of the building. The industrial steel, glass and timber construction contrasts with the essential red brick character of The Robinson Building and forms a natural entrance to the creative design of the 6th and 7th levels.
Something old, something new
Throughout the ground levels the distinctive windows have been replaced with a comparable new steel framed design that is both sympathetic and environmentally efficient whilst adding to the light open feel of the apartments.
